Mini U.N. Summit in Stone Mountain

Jan. 10, 2003

Children representing Bosnia, Kosovo, Mexico, Sierra Leone, Laos, and Gambia and jugglers representing the U.S. met in Stone Mountain today to begin the proliferation of fun and juggling!  Many thanks for Jammin Jay's Juicy juggling of fruit and Jubilant Joyce's jerking of scarves.  The RonJon show rode again to the rhythms of Word Up and Freakazoid.

Then the kids got to balance feathers and throw some bags and scarves.  Many braved the cold and wind to toss diabolos skyward.  The GMAAC staff was very appreciative as well.  The only sour note was the absence of Toni, who suffered her second flat tire in 2 days.  You are due for some major good luck now!  I hope that the AJA will continue to do more events like this and that others will come out as they are able.  It is really a treat to see the kids' reactions and to watch them make that first juggling connection in their brain, when it all starts to make sense.
